Step by step

   Turn your antivirus off and install the runtimes

   This is the same for every product and only needs doing once per PC.

   • Uninstall every antivirus program. Kaspersky and Malwarebytes have to go completely - switching them off is not enough.
   • Turn Windows Defender off, including real-time and tamper protection. dControl does it in one click: www.sordum.org/downloads/?st-defender-control - archive password sordum.
   • Uninstall FACEIT and Riot Vanguard. Both are named by the developer as causes of driver errors.
   • Install the Visual C++ Redistributables, all versions: www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/ - unzip it and run install_all.bat as administrator.
   • Install the DirectX End-User Runtime from microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 - run it as administrator.
   • Restart the PC once everything is installed.

   Check your setup

   Three things have to be right before anything else. The loader will not work properly without them.

   • Steam is running and you are signed in.
   • FiveM is set to Fullscreen (Settings > Display > Screen Type > Fullscreen).
   • FiveM is on the Release branch, not Beta or Canary.

   Turn Windows protection off completely

   Windows flags the loader as malware. That is a false positive - every kernel-level injector triggers it - but all four layers have to be off before you inject.

   • Virus & threat protection: every switch off.
   • Firewall & network protection: off for all three network types.
   • App & browser control: all four switches under Reputation-based protection off.
   • Core Isolation / Memory Integrity: off, then restart.

   Register your key

   Register on the Seryx site with the key from your order. You need your Discord ID and your hardware ID - the HWID tool for that is linked on the registration page.

   Download your build

   Sign in to the dashboard and download your build. It is compiled for you personally. Save it somewhere easy to find - the desktop is fine - and confirm the browser warning with Keep.

   Never pass your build on. It is tied to your hardware, and sharing it means a permanent ban.

   Run the loader and let it restart the PC

   Right-click the loader and choose Run as administrator. It detects your PC by itself. The PC then restarts once - that is the driver being installed, and it only happens the first time.

   A console window may open. That is normal, just leave it alone.

   Start FiveM and play

   After the restart, open the loader as administrator again, pick FiveM and wait until it says ready. Then start FiveM and join a server - the menu appears in the game by itself.

   No menu? Check that FiveM is in Fullscreen and on Release, and that you started the loader as administrator.

HARDWARE CHANGED

Prepare Windows once

Four settings, and the loader works on the first try. You only do this once per PC.

   Add an exclusion for the folder you keep the loader in.

   • Windows Security → Virus & threat protection
   • Manage settings → Add or remove exclusions
   • Add the folder, not the file — the loader replaces itself when it updates

   Turn off Core isolation.

   • Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → Device security
   • Core isolation details
   • Turn off Memory integrity and the Vulnerable driver blocklist
3. 3

   Install the runtimes the loader needs.

   • Visual C++ 2015–2022, both x64 and x86
   • The current DirectX end-user runtime
4. 4

   Set your keyboard layout to English (UK or US). On other layouts the loader reads some key characters wrong.

5. 5

   Close the anti-cheats of other games while you play: Vanguard, Easy Anti-Cheat, FACEIT, BattlEye, ESEA. They watch the same memory the loader writes to.
