TZ Project + Spoofer setup guide

420 TZ Project is the internal FiveM menu - it runs inside the game process, has the full feature set including Lua menus, and is the easier of the two to set up. If you mainly play competitively, our TZX Project is the external one built for that.

Step by step

  1. Turn your antivirus off and install the runtimes

    The developer asks for antivirus to be switched off or uninstalled - not for an exclusion. Everything else here only needs doing once per PC.

    • Uninstall every antivirus program. Kaspersky and Malwarebytes have to go completely - switching them off is not enough.
    • Turn Windows Defender off, including real-time and tamper protection. dControl does it in one click: www.sordum.org/downloads/?st-defender-control - archive password sordum.
    • Uninstall Riot Vanguard - a leftover Vanguard is a documented cause of error #11.
    • Uninstall OneDrive. It takes over your folders and stops the loader finding FiveM.
    • Install the Visual C++ Redistributables, all versions: www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/ - unzip it and run install_all.bat as administrator.
    • Install the DirectX End-User Runtime from microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35, and update your graphics drivers.
    • Make sure the Windows clock is synced, then restart the PC.

  2. Register and redeem your key

    Create an account on the TZ Project site, open Account and use Redeem Code with the key from your order. Turn two-factor authentication on while you are there.

    Your licence binds to your hardware on the first login, and without 2FA a later hardware reset is much harder. Set it up now, not later.

  3. Get FiveM ready

    Two things have to be right on the FiveM side before any of this works.

    • Use the RELEASE branch, not canary or beta.
    • FiveM has to be installed normally in AppData - a custom location or a custom Windows build stops the loader finding it.

  4. Download TZ

    Still signed in on your TZ account, open Download Software and pick TZ. Unpack TZ.zip into its own folder.

  5. Start Steam, then the loader

    Steam has to be running and signed in BEFORE the loader - that is a documented cause of failure on its own. Then run chrome.exe from the TZ folder as administrator and wait until it says you can open the game.

  6. Open FiveM and sign in

    Once the loader gives the go-ahead, start FiveM. A login window appears - sign in with your TZ Project account details.

    The menu key is whatever you set as Open key under Bind System. There is no fixed default.

TROUBLESHOOTING

It will not inject, or the loader does not find FiveM
Antivirus and any foreign anti-cheat have to be uninstalled, not just switched off. Uninstall OneDrive as well, and sync the Windows clock.
Error #0
Install the DirectX runtime and the Visual C++ Redistributables, and update your graphics drivers.
Errors #1, #3 and #7
Run the loader as administrator and make sure UAC is not blocking it.
Errors #8 and #S01
Steam is not running, not signed in, or was started after the loader. Steam comes first, every time.
Error #11
Riot Vanguard is still installed. Uninstall it properly and restart.
"TZ Loader has been updated" or error #H01
You are on the canary or beta branch. Switch FiveM back to release.
"Data Initialisation failed"
The server is running a build older than 2600 and is not supported.
"FiveM Needs To Restart"
Start FiveM through a shortcut with the -pure_X and -bYYYY arguments matching that server's build and pure mode.
Laggy or stuttering ESP
Turn V-Sync on.

HARDWARE CHANGED

You can reset it yourself in your TZ account with your password and a 2FA code - once a month, and only after actually changing a PC, swapping a part or reinstalling Windows. If the self-service route is not available to you, open a ticket with us and we will take it from there.

Prepare Windows once

A spoofer writes hardware IDs, so Windows fights it harder than a normal program.

  1. Add an exclusion for the folder you keep the spoofer in.

    • Windows Security → Virus & threat protection
    • Manage settings → Add or remove exclusions

  2. Turn off Core isolation → Memory integrity and the Vulnerable driver blocklist.

  3. Close every game and launcher before you run it. IDs that are in use cannot be changed.
